Notions & Potions - LO.
Finally managed to get a LO done today using my new Rhonna Farrer stamps. This was the 'Notions & Potions' - by Nat at the last UKS CC, oh well better later than never. I used the 'Magical' CC Kit for this LO - Rouge de Garance paper.
I really love these stamps, they are so addictive when your using them. I used the Cotton White Stayzon - I've had it for a while be not really used it, but I wasn't that impressed with it on the black card - it was fine on the acetate, I ended up going over the stamped image with my white pen.
The other alphabets are from Purple Onion - who had a great sale on some of their stamps just before Christmas.

Christmas Presents.
Well all my efforts to be a good girl has paid off again this year, as Santa & The Elves have brought me soooooo many goodies again this year. I got a wee cutie ipod shuffle, beautiful white gold and diamond necklace, CD's, books, DVD's and some Rhonna Farrer clear stamps.
I got a lovely cocktail set and a scrummy smelling, friend candle in a tin. Lush goodies and booze from my best friends Jack & Les. Perfect for our girlie nights.
Got money from my Dad, so bought Elsie's book and Rhonna Farrer alphabet stamps.
Lots more pennies so I can buy some new stash, oh and a new pair of Croc's from my Mum - think she is sick seeing me in my red one's so she got me some nice sage green ones. Cosy jammies and slippers from The 'J's' .....oh, and enough chocolate to choke a horse
I ordered the Rhonna Farrer alphabet from The Bargin Garden on American eBay. They arrived today and, wow they were packaged beautifully, with a lovely card and some jolee topper's extra's. Will be using this seller again.
Hope you all had a great Christmas.

Daring Card Makers.
So the new dare over on Daring Card Makers was to make a New Year card using -
3 Brads/eyelets.
2 Patterned Papers.
1 Die Cut/Punchie.
So here is mine, I think I'll have to make quite a few New Year cards, as I've still not done all my Christmas cards ..... ***Blush***
And better late than never - last weeks dare - Black & White, with a splash of colour. Don't look too close, as I kinda smudged 'Presents' with my big muckle thumb .... :/
Well not sure when I'll get back to Blogland, so I hope you all have a super-duper, ultra fabby Christmas.
Merry Christmas...xxx

New Dare.
Daring Card Makers have set the new dare, to make a New Year card with the following items -
3 brads/eyelets
2 different patterned papers
1 punchie or diecut
As today is the first day of my holiday, I'm hoping to do this dare over the weekend.
I did get into the studio early this morning and got another couple of cards ready for delivery.
I have finally got stuck into the Blonde Moments papers I got at the SECC with Rhi, Nic & Lisa, I didn't even flinch as I chopped into the stack. This card is for my baby sister, who is a typical 15yr old, so the Blonde Moments Stamp 'Naughty or Nice' was perfect for her.
The other card was one of the cards I made for Kathy's sewing dare, which is perfect for my Gran.

What Tarot Card are You?
You are The Star
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

Remembering Granda .... x
I wasn't teaching the craft class tonight. My Ma and Aunt Nancy were very disappointed, so I invited them to the studio to have a play. They both wanted to make cards to add to the Christmas wreaths for my Granda's grave.
I think they have both done a great job. Both are new to crafting - they only started when I started to teach my class.
My Aunt has used the fab Rhonna Farrer, swirl stamps with Primas. My mum has used the Cherry Arte stamps from LCC, with some Primas. I did the words for them both as they didn't feel confident enough - yet.
I'm so proud of them - aint they great.

Badge of the week.
Sorry the badge is late - I'm having internet problems again. I can't get on line in the evening, which is a total pain.
I'm off work today as I have had chest pains all weekend. Went to the Doc's this morning, and he has given me painkillers but has told me to keep a close eye on the pain and if it gets worse I have to call them straight away, so feeling sorry myself :( Went to the cash machine and the bl***y machine stole my card, saying it had expired ...? .... expiry date is next year. When I called the bank the lady was so nice and couldn't apologise enough, she couldn't understand why this happened. I've just gone into my purse and there is my bank card ....... I have no idea what card I tried to use. I'm blaming it on the pain :/

DCM - Stamping with a Twist.
Keryn set the Dare this week over at Daring Card Makers. Stamping with a Twist, "stamp with basically anything else but a commercially produced stamp". So I used the wheels from one of J's old cars, inked them up and run them over the car.
Used the Ellison Thin Cut, Truck.

LOL!!!!!!!!!
I found these two photo booth pictures yesterday when I was trying to clear out the last of the bits and pieces in my old craft room - I was so happy to have found them - not that I was looking for them, but I just thought they were lost forever. :D.
The first one was taken in 1989 - I was all of 16. I'm in the red T-shirt and I'm with my best pal of the time Angie ...... hehehe!!! Looking at this pic of me, I can see my youngest sister, who is 15 is my double. Not sure how she would react to that ....lol!!
The next one was taken just before my 18th birthday. So I had just started work full time as a Secretary/Receptionist. I had also just met the Country Bumpkin who would become my Hubby 3 years later ....... lol!!!! Look at the size of those spec's ..... B)

Christmas Cards.
So managed to get Blogger sorted out and am again able to post some pix.
I really like the card I made for the DCM, Star - Little Extra that I decided this would be my Christmas card this year. Nice and simple and looks good.
I used my Sizzix embossing star and cut them out by hand, inked and doodled the edges, BG papers.
