My Guy's got home from Lanzarote in the wee small hours this morning - and they are so brown ..... and I'm soooooo blue/white, it makes them look darker :( I'll have to walk a few steps behind them until they fade a bit.
They had a great time. J is still sound asleep - but hubz has been sent out on a secret mission - which he failed miserably .... boo!!!!!, there will be more about that on Tuesday.
So this week we are having a team dare.
TEXT...
definition... the main body of matter in a book or manuscript. the actual wording of anything written or printed, short passage of scripture, etc
We'd like you to somehow incorporate text into your cards this week - not just one word.. but a portion of TEXT... like a poem, or newspaper print, Caligraphy, Even rip up an old text book and use some of the paper from it, there are masses of possibilities here, so let your imaginations run riot and let us see you texting to your heart's content!
Remember to leave a comment on the DCM blog so we can pop along and see your fab creation.
If you don't have a Blog - don't worry you can still join in the fun.
Just send a photo/scan to the team at;
daringcardmakers@hotmail.co.uk
... and we will add it to our Gallery.

I like this card, pretty and very soothing!:)
The embossing patterns are great fun on your cards, and provide interesting texture. This has quite a romantic feel - lovely!

I find this card so cheery and would think a friend who received it would immediately treasure it, maybe even put it in a scrap book!! It's guaranteed to make someone feel special :-) Putting words on a card front is so effective. Must do it more often.
