I dare you to make a card inspired by a work of art. Look out for colours, patterns, textures, compositions, shapes or themes that inspire you, and remember to show us the piece of art that inspired you to create so we can see the common ground.
I was inspired by the Dog Art Dog's Pugs - aint they cute. The original Pic of the guys was taken at Aldershot train station on our way to Waterloo.
I quite like how it turned out, and have DH's fathers day card from the boy. This is a great dare to have a go of. If your not sure where to start, have a look at the links Rhi has added to the Daring Card Makers Blog...... 'I dare you'
***Edit***
I've edited to answer Rhi question about how this card was coloured.
Rhi - you know I am a total techno-twat, this card is hand coloured with water colour pencils, no gizmos here..... :D

This is fabulous - what a wonderful Father's Day Card.
Oh wowee Lynne, thats fantastic! I love what you've done with the photo, is is digital or coloured by hand? Either way its fab! Rhi x
Great to see you back, Lynne. Fab card. Very colourful.
Really great card Lynne! fab colours.
How did you do that with pencils? Did you really not use the PC - not even for the base images? It is well drawn and also cute and colourful and very reminiscient of the Andy Warhol, though I doubt he would have done pugs :-)
